A complete ready-to-race set. This set provides everything for the rookie racer: Ages 5+. Each set allows the configuration of 4 to 8 layouts with all of the track that is included in the box. Layout size depends on the amount and type of track that is included in the set.

The skill level selectable control hand throttles allows the driver's experience to be selected. Each controller can be placed in "Beginner" or "Experienced" driver's mode. In the Beginner mode, limited power is provided to the car helping it to stay on the track and provide the less experienced driver with more control and a enjoyable slot car driving experience. In the Experienced mode full power is supplied to the car and driver's with experience are provided with a enjoyable slot car driving experience. This feature allows both drivers with less experience and those with experience to drive together and enjoy their time on the track.

Start sets are fully expandable with regular Scalextric Sport track by using the Start Set Converter Track-Pack. Start sets can also be converted or added to Scalextric Digital operation. And, if you want to expand your collection of slot cars, any Scalextric 1/32 scale slot car can be run on Start tracks.
