The F-15 Eagle first appeared in 1976, and it quickly became one of the most successful fighters in aviation history. Recent stats list the F-15 has just over 100 "kills," with no combat losses on record. 367 F-15s are currently being used by the United States Air Force, where they will serve until 2025. F-15 operators from around the world include Japan (202 aircraft), Saudi Arabia (161 aircraft) and Israel (82 aircraft).
