
Refund Policies
*** No REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES WILL BE MADE ON THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:
Paints,
Magazines, Videos, CDs, Electronics, Putty, Glue, Oil, Adhesives, Airbrush
Propellant, Rocket Motors, 1/18th Die Cast.
A Receipt must
accompany returned merchandise and the return must be made within 30 days. All
original packaging materials must be intact and the item needs to be in a
"sellable" state. In that case, we will provide a 100% return in the same
payment type as was used to purchase the item. In other words, if a credit card
was used to purchase the item, we will credit the same credit card. If the
refund amount is between $0.01 and $4.99 Al’s will give a cash refund. If refund
amount is greater than $5.00 Al’s will issue a gift card. If a check was used, a
10-day grace period must pass before a credit can be issued.
A return
without a receipt will be charged a 25%
restocking fee. If an item is given as a gift, the bearer of the item must have
the gift receipt. Only store credit or gift cards will be issued on returned
gift items.
The mounting of
engines and accessories, running fuel through engines, cutting or pushing out
the balsa sheets in kits, and other similar actions constitutes used
merchandise. Radios must be returned with unmounted servos and switch harness.
If you receive
defective merchandise, please call us for return instructions. In most cases
manufacturers prefer handling defects directly. Defects found after the product
is in use usually fall under manufacturer’s warranty. An Al’s Sales Associate
will be happy to help you determine which procedure is appropriate for you.
Should you
receive merchandise that is missing a part, please contact us. We will ensure
that you are sent the part from our stock as appropriate. In accordance with a
manufacturer’s request, we may direct the information or your call directly to
the manufacturer.
