Motors & motor brackets
Motors:
Motors are important to the overall performance of the car. Choosing the right motor depends not only on the type of track that the race is run on, but also the driver’s personal driving style.
There are two standard motor configurations: In-line and Angle Winder.
In-line motor: The pinion gear on the pinion shaft hits the crown gear at 90 deg.
Angle winder motor: The pinion gear on the pinion shaft hits the crown gear at 25 deg.
Ninco Motor Types
- NC-1: A short case motor providing 15,700 rpm at 14.8 volts. It is a very lightweight and long lasting motor, ideal for providing reliable performance rather than high speed.
- NC-5 Speeder: A competition motor that provides 20,000 rpm at 14.8 volts. It is a high power performance motor, suitable for top-level rally and speed racing. Provides great magnetic power.
- NC-6 Crusher: A competition motor that provides 23,500 rpm. The pinion shaft is longer then the other motors. Provides very good torque.
- NC-7 Raider: The best motor for raid vehicles that provides 19,300 rpm. The pinion shaft is longer then the other motors. Provides very good torque.
- NC-8 Thruster: A short case motor providing 16,00 rpm at 14.8 volts. A very lightweight and long lasting motor, ideal for providing reliable performance rather than high speed.
