Hobbico Digital Voltmeter MkIII

This is a Digital Voltmeter MkIII from Hobbico.
Tests 4, 5 & 8 cell R/C batteries in a no-load or a simulated R/C load setting.

FEATURES:
Custom designed LCD shows voltage in clear " numerals, plus customized characters to easily determine the meter setting and condition of the battery under test. The LCD not only displays voltage, but voltage mode, "OK" and "RECHARGE".

Test 5 cell packs, in addition to 4- and 8-cell batteries.
Includes a common 9V battery, located inside an easy-to-access compartment.
Built-in simulated R/C load of 250mA for each setting
Includes two input controls: a small pushbutton on the left side of the case, and a 3-position slide switch on the face of the meter.
Switch load OFF and use it as a true Digital Voltmeter
Measures DC voltage up to 19.99V, making it versatile enough for any DC battery - transmitter/receiver packs, starter batteries, and glow starter batteries.

A 10 minute auto-timer shuts the unit OFF automatically if left ON by accident, to help prevent unwanted battery drain.
Rubber grip for no-slip handling

COMMENTS:
The modeler may purchase the preceding pre-made Rx and Tx connectors:
However, you CANNOT test diode-protected Tx packs with voltmeters through the radio charge jack. The pack MUST BE REMOVED from the transmitter to get an accurate voltage reading.

Modelers can make their own connectors by purchasing one HCAP0310 Banana Plugs, 16 Gauge Wire, and their radio connector
